Patiala, July 8: Today, Monday, July 8, 2025, a meeting was held between the representatives of Class IV Government Employees Union Punjab (1680), Sub-Branch Rajindra Hospital Patiala, and Medical Superintendent Dr. Vishal Chopra. Director Principal Dr. Raminder Pal Singh Sibia was also specially present in the meeting, along with other doctors and office staff.
From the union’s side, key members present included Suba President Darshan Singh Lubana, Jagmohan Singh No Lakha, President Rajesh Kumar Golu, Ajay Kumar Seepa, President Parminder Kamboj from Medical College Patiala, Secretary Desraj, Mahinder Singh Sidhu, Premi Anil Kumar, Kulwinder Singh, Vikram Singh, among others.
The meeting focused on duties as per the established rules for employees, and the matter of Mrs. Gurpreet Kaur was also discussed with proper arguments. It was decided that Class IV employees will be assigned duties according to their original appointments. 
Additionally, the topic of regularising DC rate employees was discussed in detail, and consensus was reached on several other issues as well. These discussed matters will be implemented in a time-bound manner.
In the meeting, Comrade Darshan Singh Lubana led an open discussion with the authorities on each issue, presenting arguments with references to the rules, which were accepted by the officials. They also assured that another follow-up meeting will be conducted to implement these decisions.
