Hoshiarpur- District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur informed that District Employment and Entrepreneurship Bureau-cum-Model Career Center Hoshiarpur in collaboration with LPU (Lovely University) Phagwara organized a personal guidance program for the students of class 10th about their future career options at M.R. City International School, Garhshankar.
During this program, Senior Officer of LPU Phagwara, Varun Nayyar took the psychometric test of the students, according to which various counselors did personal counseling of the students of class 10th and their parents, in which the students were informed about which subject they can choose after completing their 10th education.
Apart from this, career counselor Vishal Chawla told the students about the importance of employment bureau and gave detailed information about studies in various streams, ITI courses, diploma and degree courses, employment opportunities provided by placement cell, free internet facility provided by employment bureau, self-employment schemes, short term technical courses.
During this career guidance program, all the staff of the concerned school and 84 students participated in the program with great enthusiasm.
