
Fear and tension created by bomb blast near temple
Amritsar, March 15- There is a fear and tension in the area due to a blast near a temple in Khandwala area here last night. This explosive material was allegedly thrown at the temple by motorcycle-borne persons. The activity in this regard has been recorded in the CCTV camera.

The incident took place on the intervening night of March 14 and 15. The CCTV camera footage shows that motorcycle-borne persons threw something at the temple building, after which an explosion occurred. The temple priest and his family were on the upper floor at the time of the explosion. No one was injured in this, but a wall of the temple was damaged due to the explosion.
After receiving information about the incident, senior police officials reached the spot and an investigation has been started. There had been explosions outside and inside police buildings for some time now, but this is the first time such an explosion has taken place in a religious building.
Locals said that this action is going to create cracks in the communal harmony. The explosion caused a loud sound. It is worth mentioning that the festival of Holi was being celebrated by people not only in this area but also across the country yesterday. This festival is going to strengthen the bonds of communal harmony by sharing colors and happiness.
Bittu condemns the incident
Union Minister of State and BJP leader Ravneet Singh Bittu has strongly condemned the incident of explosives thrown at a temple in Khandwala area. Terming it a bomb blast, he said that the AAP government has proven to be unsuccessful in preventing such incidents in the state and the law and order situation in the state has worsened. He has also attached CCTV footage in his X account, in which motorcycle riders are seen throwing explosives at the temple and an explosion occurs within a few moments.
Cheema demands high-level investigation into the matter
Similarly, Shiromani Akali Dal senior leader Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema has also strongly condemned the matter in his X account and demanded a high-level investigation into it.
He said that 13 such blasts have taken place in the state and this proves that the law and order situation in the state has deteriorated. He said that the perpetrators of the blasts should be arrested and the conspiracy behind this incident should be exposed.
