Nawanshahr- District Bar Association Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar handed over memorandum to MLA of Nawanshahr constituency Dr. Nachattar Pal Anan regarding immediate construction and repair of road from Chandigarh Road to new Judicial Court Complex, Complex and Civil Hospital of Nawanshahr. He requested that thousands of people pass through Civil Hospital, Nawanshahr and District Court Complex, S.B.S. Nagar daily.
District Bar Association President Shamsher Singh Jhikka Advocate Anan said that we strongly demand construction of this road from Chandigarh Road to Complex and Civil Hospital for judicial employees, lawyers and other visitors of District Bar Complex. District Court Complex has recently been shifted to the building of Judicial Court Complex.
Where 150-200 vehicles pass for 2 to 3 thousand people daily. The condition of the road is very bad. There are big potholes in the middle of the road at many places. Due to which, while pedestrians suffer physical injuries due to accidents, patients admitted in the hospital may also have to abandon their journey due to not getting timely treatment. Accidents are happening every day due to the poor condition of the road. Therefore, we demand immediate construction of the road.
He demanded that steps should be taken to make this road from Chandigarh Road to Civil Hospital Nawanshahr and District Court Complex as RCC cement road on priority basis. District Bar Association President Shamsher Singh Jhikka, Advocate SBS Nagar and Advocate Krishna Bhutta were present on this occasion.
