Chandigarh, September 4- Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao thanked Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini for opening compensation portal for farmers of South Haryana.
She had written a letter to the Chief Minister yesterday in this regard and appealed that this time there has been heavy rainfall in the state due to which farmers' main crops like cotton and bajra have been completely destroyed in the current monsoon season in many districts of South Haryana. It is necessary to open compensation portal for uploading reports of damage to crops and for giving compensation reports so that high compensation can be given to the affected farmers.
Aarti Singh Rao said that Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini immediately accepted his appeal and directed to open compensation portal for farmers in other districts like Mahendragarh, Bhiwani and Sirsa and this portal has been opened. For this, he thanked the Chief Minister and said that he is the true well-wisher of the farmers at present.
