Jalandhar, September 4- Aam Aadmi Party MLA Raman Arora was brought by Jalandhar's Rama Mandi police on a production warrant at around 7 am in a new case. Raman Arora was produced in the court by the police, from where the court has sent him on 3-day police remand.
Raman Arora was detained in the new district jail of Nabha on charges of corruption. He was granted bail by the Punjab and Haryana High Court and Raman Arora was to be released from the new district jail of Nabha at around 2 pm today.
Meanwhile, today morning, Rama Mandi police along with SHO and CIA staff arrested him under section 351 of IPC and sections 308 (2), 308 (6) of BNS and produced him in the court.
The police had sought 10 days police remand for further interrogation, where the court after hearing the defense side has ordered to send him on 3 days police remand. Now MLA Raman Arora will be produced on September 7.
