SAS Nagar, September 4 - Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal held a meeting with industrialists at the industrial area of ??Phase 7 of Mohali and with real estate businessmen and investors at Sector 78. During this, he informed the industrialists and investors about the situation of the flood-hit areas and the pain of the people.
He said that he has been visiting the flood-hit areas with Akali Dal workers since the first day. They are providing supplies and goods to the people as per their needs. He said that the floods are the result of the government's incompetence and if the government had learned any lesson from the 2023 floods, Punjab would not have had to see these days today. Sukhbir Badal said that today everyone should stand with the flood victims. He said that there is a great need for fodder for the animals.
He said that the Akali Dal is fulfilling the demand of the people by running regular relief camps in Jalandhar. He said that Akali workers from all over Punjab are sending relief materials. On this occasion, industrialists and investors, inspired by Sukhbir Badal, decided to send 50 trucks of feed and animal feed for the animals in the flood-affected areas. An amount of about fifty lakhs will be spent on these items, which will be paid by the industrialists and businessmen.
