Garhshankar- Players from different countries participated in the Olympian Heavy Weight Body Builder Championship held at Mumbai Stadium yesterday. In these competitions, Harjot Rai Jyoti of village Parowal Tehsil Garhshankar Hoshiarpur secured second place in heavy weight lifting. Harjot Rai Jyoti was felicitated on this occasion.
On this occasion, Congress leader Amarpreet Singh Lali, Halka Incharge Garhshankar attended as the chief guest. On this occasion, he congratulated Harjot Rai Jyoti and his family on winning the silver medal. He said that in our area, this young man has brought laurels to the village and the region and has also inspired the youth to stay away from drugs and adopt more and more sports.
