Hoshiarpur- Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that services related to arms license in the state of Punjab are being provided through e-Seva portal through service centers. According to the instructions issued by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Punjab Government, Punjab State e-Governance Society, those arms holders who have not availed any service in e-Seva portal for their arms licenses after September 2019, those persons will not be provided any service in e-Seva portal for arms licenses after 31 December 2024. The Deputy Commissioner has directed all the arms holders of the district that those arms license holders who have not availed the service in the e-service portal running in the service center after September 2019, should immediately submit the necessary documents to the nearest service center to renew their arms license or apply for any other arms license related service before 31 December 2024.
In this regard, according to the records, a list of 1344 arms holders (who have not availed any arms license related service in the e-service portal after September 2019) has been uploaded on the website of District Administration Hoshiarpur https://hoshipura.nic.in. Apart from this list, if any other arms holder of Hoshiarpur district has not applied for any service in the e-service portal after September 2019, then it is mandatory for them to also apply for the service before 31 December 2024.
