
Free eye operation camp by Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society today
Nawanshahr: Like every year, this year also the free eye operation camp dedicated to the 555th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji by Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society will start today (10 November 2024, Sunday) at 09:00 am at Guru Nanak Mission Charitable Dispensary and Care Center Chandigarh Road. Needy patients can reach first and get themselves registered.

Needy patients can reach first and get themselves registered.
Surjit Singh, the chief servant of the society, said that the patients will be examined today, while the operations of the patients found eligible for the operation will be started the next day at Mandeep Eye Hospital Nawanshahr. Medicines will be provided free of cost to the needy patients during the eye examination. The service of this camp will be provided by the Dhesi family group of UK resident Alipur and it will be started by praying at the feet of the Guru.
After the prayer, this camp will be jointly inaugurated by Mr. Sumit Chaudhary, Director of MR Institution and Mr. Pradeep Sudheda of BK Prince Jewelers. After the inauguration, the team of the local Mandeep Eye Hospital under the leadership of Dr. Mandeep Kaur will examine the patients and the patients will also be given the number of glasses as per the requirement.
He said that registration of needy patients will start from 08:00 am and patients registering during Kirtan Darbar will be examined on priority basis.
On this occasion, Didar Singh retired DSP, Jagjit Singh, Jagdeep Singh, Inderjit Singh Bahda, Jaswinder Singh Saini, Jagjit Singh Bata, Gyan Singh, Manmohan Singh and Daljit Singh Badwal were also present with him.
