Hisar:– Superintendent of Police Hansi Amit Yashvardhan said that under the 'Nasha Mukt Bharat' campaign, an important step has been taken by the Central Government to effectively control drug abuse and narcotics smuggling. In this direction, the National Narcotics Helpline - "Manas - 1933" has been launched by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

This helpline number will be active 24*7 and will allow citizens to share information about drug-related crimes at any time. The Superintendent of Police said that the special thing is that the identity of the informers will be kept completely confidential, so that people can share information related to illegal drug trade without any fear or hesitation.
He said that this initiative will not only prove helpful in controlling the trend of drug addiction prevalent in the society but it will also help in protecting the youth from this evil. The aim of the central government is to make India completely drug free and public cooperation is being considered important in this direction.
Superintendent of Police Amit Yashvardhan has appealed to all citizens that if they have any information about any kind of drug trade, smuggling or abuse, they should immediately inform the helpline number 1933.
