After this, the people who are living here in the slums do not maintain cleanliness and there is no proper arrangement for toilets and water drainage for them, so the water stagnates around, due to which there is a risk of spreading diseases. continues to grow. When the colony residents spoke to the owner of the land about this, they also refused saying that it will be vacated soon. But despite the passage of many years, the number of slum dwellers on this land is increasing. Colonists say that those living here are always ready to fight and they seem to be people of criminal tendencies. We are always facing the threat of theft and fighting, so we appeal to the administration to remove these shacks so that a residential colony can be built here.
The president of the colony also informed about this and said that the people living in the slums are almost seen doing and selling drugs. Due to which it becomes difficult for the mothers, sisters and children there to pass and this thing has a bad effect on the children. A demand letter was given by all the colony residents to the DC Madam Mohali to remove these slums, on which orders to vacate about four points of Dhakoli have been issued by the Municipal Council Jirakpur. But this area has not been included in it. We request the administration to take action on it and vacate it soon. So that the areas that have been vacated do not come and settle here
