S.A.S. Nagar, November 13, 2024: The message of voter registration of young voters is being given through the Voter Literacy Club of colleges and schools of Shahbzada Ajit Singh Nagar under the Special Brief Improvement November 2024 (which will run till November 28).
District Nodal Officer SWEEP Prof. Gurbakshish Singh Antal today launched this campaign under this campaign at School of Eminence Phase-11. He said that the youth who will turn 17 years of age by the eligibility date of January 1, 2025 can apply to register to vote and those who will turn 18 years of age will register to vote.
On this occasion, District Icon SWEEP Gurpreet Singh Namdhari also called upon the students to register to vote. Election lawyer Surinder Batra provided training on how to register to vote on the online voter helpline.
The school's career guidance teacher Shelly Rajput said that under the leadership of Principal Lovesh Chawla, all eligible voters will be registered to vote. On this occasion, Harmeet Kaur and Madam Shashi also presented their views.
