People are upset because of the delay in the widening of the road from Phase-7 to Phase-11

Mohali September 10- People are getting upset due to the delay in the work done by GAMADA to widen the local road from Phase-7 to Phase-11. The area on the market side of this road has been leveled for a long time and due to waterlogging in this deep area, there is always a risk of an accident. Regarding this, Ward No. 18 Councilor MC Kulwant Singh Keller has written a letter to the Chief Administrator of GAMADA and demanded that this work be completed soon.

In the letter, he said that the road being widened from Phase 7 to Phase 11 by Gamada. Because of that passersby, showroom owner and shopping customers have to bear a lot of hassle. People fall into potholes dug on the road every day. Many people's legs and arms have been broken. Cars fall into these potholes, due to which they also suffer economic loss. Not only here, dengue mosquito is breeding in standing water in these pits.
They have written that the area in front of Gurudwara Sahib of Phase 11 has been dug up to widen the road. And due to the presence of water and mud at this place, the pilgrims face great difficulty in going to the Gurdwara Sahib. Also, due to the widening of this road, the way to go to the showrooms has been closed because there are already parking spaces in front of these showrooms. There is very little space and due to the demolition of this place, the shopkeepers are suffering a huge loss. They have demanded that the work of widening the road should be completed as soon as possible and the potholes on the road should be repaired so that there is no loss of life and money to the public. A copy of this letter has also been sent to the Chief Minister of Punjab.
