Unemployment has become a big problem of our country today The number of educated youth is the highest We can assume the reason for this is the increasing population, open-ended courses everywhere, private educational institutes conducting degrees, less government jobs.

Unemployment has become a big problem of our country today The number of educated youth is the highest We can assume the reason for this is the increasing population, open-ended courses everywhere, private educational institutes conducting degrees, less government jobs. In today's era, education has become a profitable industry, in which more profit is being made with less investment. Big universities, technical colleges and other training institutes are being run across the country by big industrial houses and expatriates. In these, even after paying heavy fees, the student section does not see any hope of employment Most of the families also educate their children by taking loans from banks But even after the completion of education, disappointment is felt In such a situation, children and parents see only one option - abroad
If we talk about our state Punjab, the desire to settle abroad has been part of our nature for decades The incident of Kamagata Maru is recorded on the pages of history The dazzle of foreign countries is completely dominating our hearts and minds today Every child today dreams of Canada, Australia, England, America Today the media has reach to every person and we all know the bitter truth of the life of people who are going to migrate abroad. But this does not affect our strong desire Be it the Malta boat tragedy or the dead bodies of our youth in the jungles of Mexico, we never stop our desire to go abroad. Shops of travel agents opened in every street market in Punjab, colorful advertisements printed in newspapers, attractive sponsored programs of agencies on TV channels are pulling us to foreign countries bypassing all difficulties.
Today, an average of two children from every household in Punjab are abroad On social media, we see the difficulties faced by those children every day The condition of immigrant students in Canada today is tragic If we talk about their parents, their condition is also pathetic Young boys sit far away from girls, parents yearn to see their faces in old age And if something unexpected happens here or abroad, the situation becomes even more terrible These lines of the poet Surjit Patar are a living picture of this tragedy

" Jo videsan ca rulade ne rozi lai
uha jadon desh parataṇage apaṇe kadi
kujha tan sekaṇage man de sive di agana
baki kabaran de rukha heṭha ja bahiṇage"

The need of the hour is that we give suitable employment to our youth Going abroad is a sign of the decline of the country
