Amritsar: Two suspects arrested for spying for Pakistan’s intelligence agency

Amritsar, June 22 – In a major operation based on intelligence information, Amritsar Rural Police has arrested two suspects on charges of spying activities related to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence. The accused have been identified as Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi Fauji and Sahil Masih alias Shali.

The accused have been identified as Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi Fauji and Sahil Masih alias Shali.
DGP Gaurav Yadav, sharing a post on his social media account ‘X’, said that preliminary investigation has revealed that Gurpreet Singh was in direct contact with the operatives of Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. He is suspected of sharing sensitive and classified information through a pen drive. The ISI handler involved in this case has been identified as Rana Javed.
The police have also seized two mobile phones used to communicate with the ISI operatives. The DGP said that investigations are underway to dismantle the extensive espionage-terrorism network and identify all their associates.
