Nawanshahr, August 16- Today, a meeting of Kirti Kisan Union Area Aur was held in village Skohpur under the leadership of Area President Surinder Singh Mehrampur. Addressing the meeting, Surinder Singh Mehrampur said that the Punjab government has canceled the land pooling policy.
But recently, the United Kisan Morcha has decided to hold a rally in Samrala on August 24 because as long as the Punjab government does not denotify this land pooling policy, the farmers' struggle will continue. Therefore, farmers should make preparations to join the Samrala rally on August 24.
He said that although the government has passed a resolution in the cabinet to cancel this land pooling policy, as long as the Punjab government does not present this resolution in the Vidhan Sabha and after passing it, send it to the Honorable Governor of Punjab for approval, the farmers will continue to struggle. Therefore, from now on, we should make efforts to reach the Samrala rally so that a large number of people participate in the rally.
