Jaito, June 23:- Social worker and former councilor Sumitra Bindal, wife of Prem Kumar Bindal, resident of Gali Gora Dai, Jaito, has received a report of being robbed by an unknown youth in broad daylight today. According to former councilor Sumitra Bindal, she was waiting to take a rickshaw near the 'Shingar Palace' shop in Jaito today, suddenly a youth came to her and asked why she was standing here. She told that she has to go to her son Mukesh Kumar Bindal's house in Jaito's RV Shanti Nagar Colony and she is waiting for the rickshaw.
The unknown youth told her that he is a close friend of their son and offered to drop her home. She went to her old house and then sat behind the youth on a motorcycle. This young man started going towards Kotkapura Road instead of going towards R.V.Santi Nagar Colony, he told her that he has taken a plant, I want you to see this plant and after giving me your blessings, we will go to your house.
This young man took her to a deserted place, threatened her and fled with 2 gold bangles, a gold chain (dora), ear studs and a ring from her hands. The total weight of the gold is about 10 tolas. Sumitra Bindal's family has informed the Jaito police station about the incident. The unidentified young man's photo has been captured in CCTV cameras installed at various places in the city, and the police will use this footage to identify him.
