Hoshiarpur- A certificate distribution ceremony was organized for the students of the six-month Urdu Amooz course conducted by the District Language Office, Hoshiarpur, batch January-June 2025 after the completion of the course, in which Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Amarbir Kaur Bhullar attended as the chief guest.
While welcoming the chief guest, Dr. Jaswant Rai Research Officer gave information about the Urdu Amooz course being conducted by the Language Department and the literary and creative activities of the Language Department.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Amarbir Kaur Bhullar congratulated the students who passed the examination and said that this is a very beautiful language of India. Due to the proper digestion of our mother tongue Punjabi, the treasure of many Arabic and Persian words got mixed in it. This not only increased the vocabulary of the Punjabi language but also increased the interest and beauty of this language.
The Urdu Amooz course being conducted by the Language Department will also help in understanding and preserving the long and wide history of the Punjabi language. He urged the students to connect with the Urdu language as much as possible. On this occasion, Assistant District Public Relations Officer Lokesh Chobe was also present.
At this time, students Davinder Kumar, Kamal Nayan Sharma, Nitish Sidhu, Himmat Sidhu, Rajwinder Kaur, Gurpreet Singh and Clerk Language Department Birendra Singh were also present.
