Mansa January 30: - EGS, AIE, STR, IEV and education providers who have served in government primary schools of the state have been struggling for a long time for their reinstatement. While informing the journalists, the state president of the reinstated teachers' union Punjab, Vikas Sahni, said that as per the promise made by the Punjab government of Bhagwant Singh Mann, who calls himself the Chief Minister of the common people, before coming to power, we should be reinstated without any conditions.
During the Ludhiana by-election, the Chief Minister of Punjab had also ordered all the volunteers of our Jathevandi to form a committee and restore the department without any delay and had asked them to complete the restoration process within 15 days. But even after eight months, there has been no response from the government regarding our restoration.
He said that if the Chief Minister of Punjab does not take any firm decision regarding our restoration as promised by the Police Academy Phillaur, then on February 3, 2026, a state-level gathering will be held in Mohali and a march will be held towards the Chief Minister's residence and announced that if no solution is taken by April, a permanent dharna will be held at the Education Minister's house.
