Hoshiarpur- Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain today directed the heads of various departments to ensure the registration of all officers and employees under their departments under Mukhya Mantri Sehat Yojana. She was addressing a meeting of department heads today at the District Administrative Complex. She said that under this scheme being run under the leadership of Mukhya Mantri Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is providing the facility of cashless treatment to every person in the state so that no eligible beneficiary remains deprived of this facility.
Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain informed the officers that at present registration related to this scheme is being carried out at more than 300 locations in the district, and apart from this registration is also being done at the Seva Kendra in the District Administrative Complex. She said that according to the convenience of the departments, a registration camp can also be organized at the location suggested by them, provided that prior information is given in this regard. Giving instructions, she said that the departments should prepare a plan regarding this as soon as possible and send it to Assistant Commissioner Hoshiarpur Oishi Mandal so that arrangements for the camps can be made.
During this time Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain appealed to the residents of the district to get themselves registered while taking maximum benefit of Mukhya Mantri Sehat Yojana started by the Punjab Government. She said that under this scheme beneficiaries will get the facility of cashless treatment from the very first day of registration. This facility is applicable not only in government hospitals but also in private hospitals of the state. Treatment of serious diseases including liver, kidney, cancer and different types of surgeries is also included in this scheme.
Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain said that beneficiaries who already have the Ayushman Card worth 5 lakh rupees can upgrade it to the 10 lakh rupees Mukhya Mantri Sehat Yojana Card through a simple e-KYC process. For the convenience of the people, a helpline number 7589944720 has also been started, through which citizens will be able to know where and how they can get their card made.
Ashika Jain said that to get the card made, Aadhaar Card (linked with mobile), Voter Card and Birth Certificate for minor children are mandatory. For getting the card made, the presence of at least two members of the family is also necessary. She appealed to the residents of the district to visit their nearest Seva Kendra Camp or Common Service Centre and get themselves registered at the earliest and ensure the benefit of health security for their families.
On this occasion Assistant Commissioner Oishi Mandal, Civil Surgeon Dr. Mandeep and officers of other departments were also present.
