Una, January 29: To raise awareness among the general public about road safety rules, a road safety awareness rally was organized today (Thursday) by the Women's ITI in Una. The rally was flagged off from the Women's ITI premises by Una Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal. The rally started from the Women's ITI, passed through Rotary Chowk, and concluded back at the ITI premises.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that the main objective of this awareness rally, organized under the road safety campaign, is to make people aware of traffic rules and inspire them to adopt these rules in their daily lives. He said that life is precious and should not be wasted due to carelessness. By following road safety rules, we can not only protect our own lives but also ensure the safety of others.
He appealed to the youth to become aware of traffic rules themselves and spread the message of its importance in society. The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the residents of the district to strictly follow all safety rules, including wearing seat belts and helmets while driving, to prevent road accidents.
During the rally, the students effectively presented the importance of safe driving, the use of helmets and seat belts, and adherence to traffic rules through slogans and messages related to road safety. In addition, a quiz competition related to road safety rules was also organized at the institute.
Una RTO Ashok Kumar, Women's ITI Principal Anshul Bhardwaj, along with the entire staff and students of the ITI, were present at the event.
