Garhshankar:- Today on 9 February 2026, large meetings were held in village Salah Pur, Truck Union Garhshankar, Ambedkar Nagar Garhshankar. These meetings were addressed by Darshan Singh Mattu, State Vice President, Darshan Singh Mattu, Vikas Manch Garhshankar President Kulwinder Sangha and demanded that four labor codes be repealed and 44 labor laws be restored, the Electricity Amendment Bill 2025 be repealed, the Seed Bill be repealed, and the MNREGA scheme be restored.
In the meetings, the farmers and laborers vowed to continue the struggle until victory. On this occasion, Krishan, Azhae Bagga, Piara Singh, Fauji, Pal Chaudhary, Gurdial Singh, Satwinder Singh Dayal Malkit Singh, Tarsem Lal and other women were present.
