Hoshiarpur- The Third National Lok Adalat of the year 2025 is being organized by the District Legal Services Authority Hoshiarpur as per the guidelines of the Member Secretary, Punjab State Legal Services Authority SAS Nagar on September 13, 2025 at the district level and sub-division level.
Giving information in this regard, District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority Rajinder Agarwal said that in this Lok Adalat, civil cases, rent cases, MACT cases, criminal compoundable cases, revenue cases, 138 Negotiable Instruments Act, family matters, labor matters, bank cases (pending and pre-litigative), cases of telecom companies, water bills (except non-compoundable), electricity bills (except non-compoundable) and other cases will be filed and both pending and pre-litigative cases will be filed in the courts in this Lok Adalat.
Similarly, CJM-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority Neeraj Goyal appealed to the people to file cases in as many Lok Adalats as possible. He said that this saves time and money and the decisions of these Lok Adalats are recognized as civil decrees. The decisions of the Lok Adalat are final and there is no appeal against it. Therefore, people should get maximum benefit by getting their cases resolved through these Lok Adalats.
