Hoshiarpur- MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa today honored the girl students who excelled in various fields at the Government Girls Senior Secondary School Railway Mandi here and said that the Punjab government is equipping every government school in the state with ultra-modern facilities so that the students can be enabled for the current competitive era.
Talking about the completion of the work of setting up a virtual reality laboratory at a cost of Rs 8.40 lakh, an NSQF lab at a cost of Rs 2.20 lakh and further strengthening the school's building structure at a cost of Rs 6.48 lakh at the Government Girls Senior Secondary School Railway Mandi, MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that the new laboratories will provide modern educational facilities to the girl students, with which they will get practical information along with book knowledge.
He said that Railway Mandi School has a proud history which has produced successful students with excellent performance in various fields, of which the people of Hoshiarpur will always be proud. He said that due to the major improvements in the level of education in government schools, in 2026, 305 students of government schools of Punjab have passed the JEE Mains and 845 students have passed the NEET exam, which is a big achievement in itself.
He also honored the students who have excelled in school studies and achieved fame in sports.
