Bathinda:- The festival of Teej was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pomp by Satkar Mahila Club Adarsh ??Nagar at the local entertainment club. Glimpses of Punjabi culture and heritage were seen during the event.
The stage proceedings of the event were well conducted by Amandeep Kaur and Manvinder Kaur. On this occasion, long-hake Punjabi songs, gidhas and interesting quizzes related to the festival of Teej were conducted. Prizes were also distributed to the participants who won in various competitions.
Mandeep Kaur, Rajwinder Kaur, Harjit Kaur, Manju, Gurveer Kaur, Babbu etc. played an important role in making the event a success. Punjabi folk songs, gidhas and cultural colors made the atmosphere even more pleasant during the event.
Finally, the club president, Kumari Parveen State Awardee, thanked all the attendees for attending the event and said that such events make a significant contribution in preserving our rich Punjabi heritage and culture and passing it on to the new generation.
