Hoshiarpur- Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain informed that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann has announced the launch of the ‘Pensioner Sewa Portal’ designed to streamline pension services for pensioners, whose services will now be available in 23 service centers of the district.
Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain informed that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to meeting the needs of its retired employees.
She said that the ‘Pensioner Sewa Portal’ will ensure timely, accurate and hassle-free pension services for all pensioners of the state. Ashika Jain informed that the portal, https://pensionersewa.punjab.gov.in, aims to automate the workflow of the pension disbursement case process and provide various services to pensioners and family pensioners.
He said that the portal will initially provide six main services to the pensioners, which include submission of digital life certificate through the 'Jeevan Praman' mobile app, application for conversion of pension into family pension through the successor module, application for availing Leave Travel Concession (LTC), lodging of pension related complaints through the grievance redressal module, and updating/changing the personal details of the pensioner through the profile updation module. The Deputy Commissioner further said that the process of availing these services is simple and user-friendly.
He said that the pensioners can register on the 'Pensioner Seva Portal' by completing e-KYC through the Aadhaar authentication facility available on the portal. He said that thereafter, the pensioners can avail these services from the comfort of their homes by using their login ID on the portal through their mobile phones, PCs, or laptops.
