Chandigarh, February 20:- The Punjab State Committee of the Revolutionary Marxist Party of India (RMPI) has announced to hold a state-level grand rally on February 26 at the Rally Ground in Sector-25, Chandigarh.
According to the party, this rally is being held against the alleged anti-Punjab policies of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and against the oppression and discrimination being done to Punjab by the Government of India. During this, the demand for a permanent solution to the inter-state issues related to Punjab that have been pending for decades will also be raised.
The rally will be addressed by the party's General Secretary Comrade Mangat Ram Pasla and other central and state leaders. State Committee Secretary Pargat Singh Jamarai said in a statement that a strong voice will also be raised from this platform against the attacks on state rights and civil liberties by the central government. 
He said that preparations are in full swing in all districts of the state for the success of the rally. He also appealed to all Punjabis to rise above the differences of religion, caste and language and participate in this rally in large numbers, including their families, in favor of Punjab and Punjabiyat.
