Una, November 4 - Municipal Corporation Commissioner and Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Una, Mahendra Pal Gurjar, held a meeting with local architects from the district in his office today (Wednesday). Ten local architects participated in the meeting. The Commissioner stated that the primary objective of the meeting was to make the approval process for residential building plans within the Municipal Corporation jurisdiction more streamlined, transparent, and public-friendly.
Mahendra Pal Gurjar stated that registered architects in Himachal Pradesh have been granted the power to approve building plans under self-approval for residential plots up to 500 square meters.
He directed the architects to utilize these powers to approve residential building plans up to 500 square meters, eliminating the need for repeated visits to the Municipal Corporation office. This will provide great convenience to the common citizens, and the approval process will become more timely, transparent and simple.
Assistant Engineer Ankush Rana, Planning Officer Ravi Kishore, Junior Engineer Shivani Thakur and other officials were also present on this occasion.
