Ratia, March 7:- The monthly meeting of the Retired Employees Union of Haryana, Block Nagpur Headquarters, Hadoli, was held under the chairmanship of Jagjit Singh, Block President. It was conducted by Secretary Rajkumar Hadoli. Bhola Singh, District President, also participated in the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, the District President stated that the United States is bullying smaller countries and pressuring them to enter into trade agreements that serve its own interests. The US attack on Iran is a deliberate move. The Retired Employees Union of Haryana opposes this and appeals to the Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, to mediate and try to stop the war.
Secondly, the Prime Minister of India should cancel the trade agreement with the United States. This will have far-reaching adverse effects on India's economy, increasing the prices of oil, food, and other essential commodities in India, making life difficult for the poor. Anarchy will increase in the country, and the democratic structure will be destroyed.
In today's meeting, the employees expressed happiness over Master Wazir Singh being elected as the National General Secretary. Their demands include 10% increase at the age of 65, 20% increase at the age of 70, recovery of 18 months' arrears commutation, cashless medical facility at 10 years and 8 months, abolition of the age limit for unconditional LTC, these demands should be implemented as soon as possible. In today's meeting, 15-20 colleagues including Shri Devraj Suresh Chand, Harbans Singh, Master Gamdur, Tulsiram Laxman Singh, Sitaram Begraj etc. participated.
