Karnal, October 10: A major robbery occurred in Karnal's posh Sector 9 area on Thursday evening when a major robbery was reported at the home of the owner of Sara Jewellers. Shockingly, the incident was not carried out by an outside gang, but by Reema, a Nepali maid, along with three accomplices.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 4 p.m. After knocking the mistress and another maid unconscious with a spray, the accused fled with a large amount of cash and jewelry.

*How the crime was committed:
According to information, the home of Lavish Goyal, owner of Sara Jewellers, is located opposite Atal Park in Sector 9. Lavish had gone to his showroom at around 4 p.m. on Thursday. His wife and two maids were present at the time. The Nepali maid, Reema, who had been hired through an agency about 27 days earlier, had orchestrated the entire incident.
Reema had called three of her accomplices in advance. Two of the men went inside the house, while the third waited outside with a scooter. Inside the house, Reema sprayed her mistress and the other maid in the face, causing them to fall unconscious. The accused then collected the cash and jewelry stored in the house and fled on a scooter.

*The revelation came through a grandson's insight:
When the family's grandson returned home from tuition at around 6:30 in the evening, he saw household items scattered and his grandmother and maid unconscious. He immediately informed his father, after which police and FSL teams arrived at the scene. The injured were immediately admitted to the hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

*CCTV cameras scanned:
Sub-Inspector Rishipal, the in-charge of the Sector 9 police post, arrived at the scene and examined CCTV cameras around the house. The footage clearly showed three young men arriving on a scooter—two went inside, and one remained standing outside. Police say that the Nepalese maid, Reema, is the mastermind behind the crime. SP Ganga Ram Poonia stated that several teams have been formed to search for the accused, and all the accused will soon be in police custody.

*Be cautious: Get police verification done before hiring a servant through an agency:
Social activist SP Chauhan expressed concern over this incident, saying that many criminals are now opening agencies and deceiving people. These people send their people to homes in the guise of servants and later commit crimes. He appealed to anyone hiring a servant through an agency to get police verification done before hiring a servant.
