Hoshiarpur: Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain announced that the Punjab Government is organizing a unique light and sound show dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji on November 8th at the Lajwanti Multipurpose Stadium, Hoshiarpur. The show will present the life, teachings, and great sacrifice of Guru Sahib in an engaging and emotional manner.
Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain chaired a meeting regarding the preparations for the show at the Lajwanti Multipurpose Stadium today. She stated that this approximately 45-minute digital show will beautifully highlight the life and legacy of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, and his message of peace, tolerance, and universal brotherhood. She stated that this event will be a true tribute to Guru Sahib's message of humanity and compassion.
She stated that entry for the show will begin at 5 p.m. on November 8th and will be free for all. Anyone can attend this grand event without a pass. He appealed to all citizens of the district to participate in this inspiring event in large numbers, including their families.
Reviewing the preparations for the event, the Deputy Commissioner assigned departmental responsibilities regarding security, traffic management, cleanliness, parking arrangements, barricading, uninterrupted power supply, deployment of medical teams, fire safety, publicity arrangements, control room, and drinking water facilities. He directed the police and civil administration to ensure comprehensive arrangements to ensure that devotees do not face any inconvenience.
It is noteworthy that this light and sound show is being presented by the Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department, Punjab.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Nikas Kumar, SDM Hoshiarpur Gursimranjit Kaur, RTO Amandeep Kaur Ghumman, SP Major Singh, Civil Surgeon Dr. Balveer Kumar, District Sports Officer Gurpreet Singh, Executive Gurmeet Singh, Naib Tehsildar Hridayveer Singh, Deputy District Education Officer Amandeep Sharma, and officials from various departments were present.
