Hoshiarpur:- The long-running dispute over 36 acres of land belonging to Sri Guru Ravidas Begampura Sadan Sri Khuralgarh Sahib, village Mohandpur, Tehsil Nangal, district Ropar has once again taken a turn for the worse. This land was purchased by the Guru Ravidas Sadhu Samparday Society (Regd.) Punjab under the leadership of Sant Sarwan Das Ji Bohan with the support of the sangats from the country and abroad, especially the NRI sangats, for the good of the nation.
To resolve this dispute, SC Commission Chairman Jasvir Singh Garhi reached Dera Sant Pritam Das, Babejore (Raipur Rasulpur), where leaders of Guru Ravidas Sadhu Sampraday Society, All India Adi Dharam Mission (Regd.) India and a large number of devotees participated.
On this occasion, the saints and great men of the society said that despite the registration, transfer and demarcation of the land, the entire land has not yet been handed over to the society and some people have forcibly occupied it. They demanded that the land in the name of the society be immediately vacated and handed over to the society. They said that if the government gets support, schools, colleges and hospitals will be built here and dedicated to the nation.
Society President Sant Nirmal Das and General Secretary Sant Inder Das alleged that false cases have been registered against the saints and servants of the society by a family forcibly occupying Sri Charanchoh Ganga. They said that during the cleaning, the servants were threatened, regarding which an application has been given to the SSP Ropar and the matter is being investigated by DSP Nangal.
National President of All India Adi Dharam Mission Sant Satwinder Hira said that Sri Charanchoh Ganga is not the common heritage of any one family, but of the entire Adi Dharam community and its management should be done in a transparent manner.
SC Commission Chairman Jasvir Singh Garhi assured that the issue of marking of 36 acres of land will be resolved soon. He said that the entire process will be completed immediately by involving the officials of the Revenue and Panchayat Department and the land which is in the name of the society will be handed over to the society soon.
