Hisar:- Under the able leadership of Hansi Superintendent of Police Amit Yashwardhan, Hansi Police are continuously conducting intensive campaigns to improve traffic management, prioritize road safety, and curb traffic violations. Consequently, the number of traffic challans issued in 2025 has increased significantly compared to the previous year.
The Superintendent of Police stated that a total of 16,503 challans were issued in 2024, while 31,320 challans have been issued so far in 2025, representing an increase of approximately 89.8% (almost double). This increase proves that Hansi Police is continuously enforcing strict road discipline and responsible driving.
Quarterly Comparison
• A total of 3,811 challans were issued in May, June, and July 2024, compared to 13,305 challans in 2025—an increase of approximately 249%.
• Similarly, in August, September, and October, 10,167 challans were issued in 2025, compared to 2,603 ??challans in 2024—a significant increase of approximately 291%.
These statistics clearly demonstrate that the Hansi Police's presence on the roads and strict enforcement of traffic rules are making a significant difference to road safety.

• Bullet firecracker: 47 challans in 2024, 92 challans in 2025 — a 96% increase
• Black film: 16 challans in 2024, 62 challans in 2025 — a 288% increase
• Vehicles without number plates: 445 challans in 2024, 2,262 challans in 2025 — a 409% increase
• Drunken driving: 10 challans in 2024, 619 challans in 2025 — a 6,090% increase
Strict monitoring for road safety
Superintendent of Police, Hansi, stated that special checking campaigns are being conducted by the traffic police in both urban and rural areas. Daily inspections are being conducted in main markets, school areas, major intersections, and highways.
Strict action is being taken against reckless driving, riding a two-wheeler without a helmet, not wearing a seat belt, driving while talking on a mobile phone, or driving without a number plate.
He stated that this strictness is not merely for punitive purposes, but to encourage people to follow the rules and reduce road accidents.
Hansi Superintendent of Police Amit Yashwardhan IPS said, "Road safety is not just the responsibility of the police, but of every citizen. It is our duty to follow the rules, use helmets and seat belts, and also protect the lives of others. The goal of the Hansi Police is 'Every journey should be safe.'"
He appealed to citizens to cooperate with the traffic police, avoid driving under the influence, and make discipline a habit.
