Ratia, October 8 - A large number of devotees from across the Ratia region left for Rori today under the leadership of Professor Ravindra Baliala, Chairman of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Commission of the Haryana Government and District Coordinator for the yatra, organized by the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee and the Haryana Government to organize a grand and historic yatra to commemorate the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, Professor Ravindra Baliala informed that a Sandesh Yatra is being organized in the state by the Haryana Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee and the State Government to commemorate the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. This yatra will commence today from Rori, travel across the state, and reach Kurukshetra on November 24th, where the yatra will conclude in a grand manner.
Professor Ravindra Baliala stated that Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will launch the Yatra from Rori today, taking it to a new and higher level. Professor Ravindra Baliala stated that the Yatra will arrive in Fatehabad on November 17th and will halt overnight at Angitha Sahib Gurudwara in Ratia on November 18th. Professor Ravindra Baliala, the district coordinator of the Yatra, stated that the Yatra will receive a grand welcome at various locations in Fatehabad district, which will be a wonderful experience for the devotees.
Professor Ravindra Baliala further stated that Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was not the Guru of any one community; rather, he sacrificed his life for the welfare of humanity, and his ideals have inspired all of humanity. Therefore, he appeals to all devotees to participate in large numbers on this auspicious occasion and remember the ideals of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
He further stated that the yatra will conclude in Kurukshetra on November 24th, where a large number of devotees from Haryana will participate, making this auspicious occasion even more grand and memorable. The devotees, including Gurcharan Singh Khokhar, were present on this occasion.
