Patiala, April 15: Recently, the Sudhar Sabha Shri Kedarnath Ji (Registered) organized a special event at the temple. Offerings (*Prasad*) consisting of *Halwa*, *Puri*, and *Chana* (chickpeas) were arranged near the colossal statue of Lord Shiva. Following a collective *Ardas* (prayer)—led by Shri Ranjit Singh Chandok (Councilor), the *Bhai Ji* (Priest) of Gurdwara Bhai Jassa Singh Ji, and all members of the Sudhar Sabha—and accompanied by the resounding chant of "Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh," a *Langar* (community meal) was served.
The *Bhai Ji* from the Gurdwara Sahib commended the initiative, noting that ever since the installation of the colossal statue at the Kedarnath Temple, the festivals and holy days associated with all the Sikh Gurus have been celebrated within its premises. He described this as a highly praiseworthy step. The *Langar* was distributed near the statue of Lord Shiva, and the *Sangat* (congregation) partook of the meal while seated at tables. Water service (*Jal Seva*) was also provided during the *Langar*. On Tuesday evening, a recitation of the *Sunderkand* was conducted at the temple.
On this occasion, the *Shiv Mandali* and Satish Sharma sang praises of Lord Hanuman, and the *Sunderkand* was recited. A large number of local colony residents and city dwellers gathered for the event, and *Prasad* consisting of *Kulche-Chole* (flatbread with chickpeas) and *Laddoos* was distributed among the attendees.
