Chandigarh July 31, 2024:- All those candidates, who have applied for admission to MA (Punjabi) 1st Semester, Session 2024 -25 are hereby informed that the date of counselling for the admission to MA (Punjabi) will be held on 09 August 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the office of Chairperson.
Eligibility for MA Punjabi 50% in graduate course with compulsory Punjabi and 45% for SC/ST candidates.  Admission will be on merit basis for 68 seats. The 15% weightage will be given to the student those who studied Punjabi as an elective subject at the graduate level. The student who studied Hons. Punjabi in graduation also given 15% weightage but those who have elected Punjabi and Hons. (both) will be given 20% weightage.
All the candidates bring their testimonials at the time of counselling. All those candidates who will be absent in the counselling will not be entertained.
