Karnal, November 1: On the occasion of Haryana Day, a district-level cultural festival was organized in the auditorium of Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College, Karnal, with colorful cultural performances. Nilokheri MLA Bhagwandas Kabirpanthi participated as the chief guest.
On this occasion, he highlighted the key aspects of Haryana's progress over the last 59 years and said that the state has achieved new heights of development in many areas during this period. He also expressed hope that Haryana will establish its unique identity in the world in the future.
He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Haryana is continuously progressing on the path of development. School students performed cultural programs on the occasion. Governor Asim Kumar Ghosh's live address from the state-level function held in Panchkula was also played on the occasion.
The chief guest of the festival, MLA Bhagwandas Kabirpanthi, extended greetings and best wishes to the people on Haryana Day. He said that the state has made remarkable progress in various fields over the past six decades. At the time of the state's formation, southern Haryana faced a severe shortage of water for irrigation.
At that time, electricity supply was minimal, but today, people in the state enjoy 24-hour electricity. The state's budget has reached over one lakh crore rupees. Government colleges are being established every 20 km. New model Sanskriti schools have been built. School infrastructure has been strengthened.
He said that the state has also made significant progress in the health sector. Medical colleges are being established in every district. Government hospitals have provided numerous patient-friendly facilities. Gurugram and Faridabad have established a distinct identity with the establishment of large companies.
The establishment of industrial units has provided employment to a large number of people and has also increased the state's revenue. MLA Bhagwandas Kabirpanthi said that educated representatives are now being elected to Panchayati Raj institutions.
The government has made many services online, allowing people to benefit from government welfare schemes from the comfort of their homes. Online registration has also begun today.
