Ratia, December 28: A religious program was organized at Gurdwara Sri Guru Granth Sahib, Purana Bazaar, dedicated to the martyrdom of the Sahibzadas, with the aim of connecting children with Sikh history. On this occasion, the children recited verses from Gurbani, including Chaupai Sahib, Anand Sahib, Japji Sahib, and Mool Mantra, and also enthralled the congregation with their beautiful presentation of religious hymns and poems.
Giving details about the program, social worker Happy Singh Sethi said that the Gurbani program was organized with the cooperation of the Gurdwara Sahib to commemorate the martyrdom of the four Sahibzadas of Sarbansdani Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj Ji, and the martyrs of Chamkaur Sahib and Sirhind, and to connect children with Sikh history. A large number of children from the area, as well as from various places in Punjab, participated in the program.
In this program held at the Gurdwara Sahib, the children recited Gurbani, sang hymns, and presented beautiful poems about the martyrdoms, which was highly appreciated by the congregation. All the children who participated in the program were honored with mementos by the Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Study Circle. Manager Harvinder Singh, Kishan Singh, Jaswant Singh, Rupesh Singh, Angrez Singh, Navdeep Singh, and other volunteers were present on this occasion.
