Hoshiarpur: The 100th-anniversary celebrations of the Adi Dharam Mandal—founded by the legendary leader of the Adi Dharam community, freedom fighter, and revolutionary 'Gaddari Baba' Babu Mangu Ram Mugowalia—were observed with deep devotion by congregations from across the country and abroad. The event took place at the historic religious site of Sri Guru ?????? (Ravidas) Charanchoh, Begumpura, Sri Khuralgarh Sahib, under the leadership of Sant Satvinder Hira, National President of the All India Adi Dharam Mission. Religious, social, and political figures paid tribute to Babu Mangu Ram Mugowalia and pledged unity and commitment to taking the Adi Dharam Mission to the masses globally.
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Sant Satvinder Hira recalled that 100 years ago, on June 11–12, 1926, Babu Mangu Ram Mugowalia established the Adi Dharam Mandal, gifting millions of people their own faith—Adi Dharam—along with the symbol 'Sohang' and the slogan 'Jai Gurdev'. He noted that Babu Ji showed the community the path of struggle for economic prosperity and religious and social freedom. Through this struggle, rights such as access to education, land ownership, voting, wearing decent clothing, and having proper housing were secured; consequently, members of the Adi Dharam community have risen to hold high positions, including IAS and IPS officers, MLAs, MPs, and ministers.
Sant Satvinder Hira announced that a beautiful, divine temple dedicated to Meera Bai—the supreme disciple of Satguru Ravidas Maharaj—and a *gaushala* (cow shelter) named after her would soon be constructed at Sri Khuralgarh Sahib. Additionally, a coaching center to prepare the community's youth for IAS and IPS examinations will be opened shortly. Sant Hanspal, Sant Kahan Singh, Sant Ram Murti, Sant Ram Prakash Saila Reehla, Ram Singh Shukla (Himachal), Advocate Kuldeep Chand Nangal, Tarsem Lal Sahota (Himachal), Harsh Bhardwaj, Tarsem Baddan, Om Prakash Rana, and a large number of devotees were present on this occasion.
