Una, February 17: The 'Anti-Chitta Walkathon', scheduled for February 21 in Una, has been postponed due to administrative reasons. Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal stated that this decision was made due to administrative commitments and rescheduling of events at the state level. Considering the proposed participation of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu in the event, a new date for the walkathon will be announced soon.
It is noteworthy that the state government is conducting a massive public awareness campaign as part of its commitment to a drug-free Himachal. Under the leadership of the Chief Minister, the 'Anti-Chitta Walkathon' has been successfully organized in Shimla, Dharamshala, Hamirpur, and Bilaspur, where thousands of youth and citizens participated and pledged to make Himachal drug-free.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that this campaign against drug abuse will continue as before, and once a new date is announced, the walkathon will be organized with widespread public participation.
