Hisar, 18 March: The 70th annual festival of Hanuman Temple Budhla Sant Sthan located in Rishi Nagar and the Hindu New Year Vikrami Samvat 2083 commenced yesterday evening with the recitation of Sundarkand. Ganesh worship was conducted by Raja Pandit, Sachidanand and Pandit Suresh Kumar Mishra. The temple’s sevadars recited the text with great devotion and reverence. A large number of devotees participated in the recitation and paid obeisance at the court of Hanuman Ji. Bhajans were also sung before the recitation.
On this occasion, social workers O.P. Mehta, Surendra Poonia, Nandlal Chopra, Vivek Dembla, Rajiv Sachdeva, Pawan Girdhar CA, Radheshyam Bhatia, Dr. M.P. Munjal, Dr. Shruti Mehta and Piyush Mehta were present as guests. All guests were honored with ceremonial stoles and mementos.
At the festival, Temple Sabha President Rajkumar Setia, General Secretary Subhash Tinu Ahuja, Treasurer Ashok Grover, Vice President Dr. Amar Thakral, Legal Advisor Advocate Ravi Mehta, Bhandara Incharge Manoj Nagpal, Program Coordinator Surendra Bajaj, Advocate Jagdish Gandhi, Bittu Taneja, Shubham Valecha, Abhay Bajaj, Vinod Raheja, Prem Asija, Bhimsain Narang, Vikas Thakral, Ashok Maggu, Kamal Arora, Rajendra Soni, Vishal Lalit, Sanjay Kukreja, Parth Chopra, Sardar Inderjeet Chawla along with hundreds of others were present.
General Secretary of the Temple Sabha, Subhash Tinu Ahuja, informed that today from 7 pm to 10:30 pm, bhajan singer Ms. Nikunj Kamra from Delhi will perform Harinam Sankirtan. On the final day of the festival, 19 March, a havan will be held at 8 am, flag hoisting at 10 am, and from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, bhajan singer Babbu Bhaiya from Delhi will perform Harinam Sankirtan. Thereafter, at 2 pm, a grand community feast will be organized.
