Una, October 16: The Thanakalan-Khurwain Road via Tiyar (kilometers 3/300 to 6/600) will be closed from October 17th to November 17th (one month). During this period, traffic will be diverted via Kakrana, Ghunghan, Harot, and Thanakalan to Kyariyan Road.
Una Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal has issued orders under Sections 115 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, to ensure smooth and expeditious road upgrades and other construction work.
The Deputy Commissioner has directed the concerned departments to install signboards on the road and utilize all means of information dissemination to inform the public in advance. He has appealed to the general public to use alternative routes for travel during this period.
