Fatehabad, 17 February:- Superintendent of Police Shri Siddhant Jain, IPS, today conducted a surprise inspection of the Women Police Station Fatehabad and carried out a detailed review of the station premises, record maintenance, pending cases, and work related to women’s safety. During the inspection, Station House Officer Inspector Aruna along with other police officers and staff members were present.
During the inspection, the Superintendent of Police closely examined the cleanliness of the police station premises, visitor room, women help desk, counseling room, and complaint room. He directed that every woman complainant visiting the police station must be treated with complete sensitivity, respect, and confidentiality, and that their complaints should be resolved promptly and impartially on a priority basis.
While examining the files of pending cases, the Superintendent of Police reviewed the progress of investigations and issued necessary directions to the concerned investigating officers. He made it clear that no negligence would be tolerated in cases related to women, especially those involving domestic violence, dowry harassment, molestation, cyber crime, and child protection. All investigations must be completed in a time-bound manner and legal action against the accused must be ensured.
During the inspection, the malkhana, record room, and CCTV system were also checked. The Superintendent of Police issued instructions for proper maintenance of records, regular updating of digital records, and strict compliance with security standards. He also interacted with the station staff to gather information regarding duty management, work allocation, and public outreach activities.
He stated that the Women Police Station is a center of trust and security for distressed women. Every woman who comes here should feel assured of justice and support. He emphasized strengthening counseling services and ensuring the availability of legal assistance and psychological counseling for women in need.
At the conclusion of the inspection, the Superintendent of Police motivated all staff members to work with honesty, transparency, and dedication to duty. Necessary corrective measures will be implemented promptly while giving top priority to women’s safety.
