Hansi: The summer camp, organized under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner and District Child Welfare Council President Rahul Narwal, concluded on Tuesday at Bal Bhavan amidst great enthusiasm, zeal, and a vibrant display of culture. The closing ceremony was filled with joy, featuring captivating performances by the children, an awards ceremony, and inspiring speeches.
Block Education Officer Jogendra Malik attended the event as the chief guest, while Ravindra Attri, President of the Private School Association, was present as the guest of honor. The District Child Welfare Council accorded a grand welcome and honor to both guests by presenting them with bouquets and mementos.
The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a prayer to Goddess Saraswati (Saraswati Vandana). Subsequently, the participating children mesmerized the audience with engaging performances based on patriotic songs, Haryanvi folk culture, group dances, music, yoga, painting, and various creative activities. The guests, parents, and audience alike heaped praise on the children for their self-confidence, discipline, stage presence, and outstanding performances.
Block Education Officer Jogendra Malik remarked that summer camps serve as vital schools for personality development. Such camps foster self-confidence, leadership skills, discipline, creative thinking, team spirit, and social values ??in children. He stated that in today's competitive era, academic education alone is insufficient; the moral, cultural, mental, and social development of children is equally essential. Appreciating the District Child Welfare Council's efforts toward the holistic development of children, he emphasized the need to continue organizing such events in the future.
Speaking at the event, Ravindra Attri noted that in the modern digital age, there is a greater-than-ever need to draw children out of the world of mobile phones and screens, identify their hidden talents, and provide them with a suitable platform. He added that summer camps offer children a golden opportunity to learn new things, make new friends, develop team spirit, and move forward with self-confidence. He praised the children for their outstanding performance and wished them a bright future.
Speaking on the occasion, District Child Welfare Officer Omprakash Bibyan stated that the objective of the District Child Welfare Council is to create a positive environment for children where, alongside education, they can cultivate values, discipline, creativity, leadership skills, and a sense of social responsibility. He noted that during the summer camp, children received training in yoga, music, dance, art, sports, personality development, moral education, and various creative activities, thereby giving new recognition to their self-confidence and talent. He remarked that the success of such programs would not be possible without the trust and cooperation of parents, and assured that the Council would continue to organize similar creative programs for the benefit of children in the future.
During the ceremony, all children who participated in the summer camp were awarded certificates of participation, while those who excelled in various competitions received special honors. The children beamed with joy upon receiving their awards, and parents highly appreciated this initiative by the District Child Welfare Council.
At the conclusion of the event, the District Child Welfare Council honored the Chief Guest, Jogendra Malik, and the Guest of Honor, Ravindra Attri, by presenting them with mementos. District Child Welfare Officer Omprakash Bibyan expressed his gratitude to all the guests, instructors, parents, Council staff, and everyone who contributed to the success of the summer camp. The ceremony concluded with dignity with the singing of the National Anthem.
