Haroli/Una, May 12 (Rajveer Chopra):- A grand "Industry Connect Meet" was successfully organized under the joint aegis of the Bank of India and the Haroli Block Industries Association (HBIA) at the Common Facility Center, Bathu-Bathri Industrial Area, Una (Himachal Pradesh). The primary objective of the program was to establish better coordination between the industrial sector and banking institutions, to connect industries with banking facilities, and to provide entrepreneurs with information regarding various financial schemes.
The event was attended by numerous industrialists, entrepreneurs, trade representatives, and senior officials from the Bank of India. During the proceedings, detailed discussions were held on various topics related to the industrial sector, with special emphasis placed on the role of the banking sector in the growth and development of industries.
Representing the Bank of India, Mr. Rajesh Ranjan (Zonal Manager, Chandigarh), Mr. Pramod Kumar (AGM, SMECC Chandigarh), Mr. Rahul Kumar (Marketing Head, Chandigarh), and Mr. Balwant Singh (Manager, Bank of India, Una) were prominently present. The bank officials shared vital information regarding various banking schemes available to industries—including credit facilities, MSME finance, working capital, term loans, digital banking services, and opportunities for business expansion.
The officials stated that the Bank of India is continuously striving to empower industries and encourage new entrepreneurs. They urged the industrialists to make maximum use of modern banking services, digital payment systems, and government-sponsored schemes.
During the event, the industrialists also presented various suggestions and raised issues related to banking procedures before the officials, leading to a constructive dialogue on these matters.
On behalf of the Haroli Block Industries Association, President Rakesh Kaushal, Vice President Narendra Singh, Advisor R.C. Taneja, and Organizing Secretary Deepak Puri played an active role in the program. They emphasized that continuous dialogue between banks and industries is absolutely essential for strengthening the industrial sector. Such events prove instrumental in providing industrialists with new insights and enhanced financial opportunities.
