Chandigarh, November 8 - Haryana Governor Professor Asim Kumar Ghosh said that in a progressive state like Haryana, institutions like The Technological Institute of Textiles and Sciences are strengthening the industrial capacity and human resources of the state. Future India needs such institutions. He appealed to the students to inculcate moral values ??in life along with education and play an important role in the prosperity of the society and the nation. A degree is not just a document, but it is a symbol of responsibility and a promise towards the society.
The Governor was addressing the convocation ceremony of The Technological Institute of Textiles and Sciences as the chief guest today. His wife Smt. Mitra Ghosh was also present at the convocation ceremony.
During this, Governor Professor Ghosh conferred degrees on about 300 graduate and post graduate students who passed out from various disciplines. He said that institutions like TIIT&S are setting the direction of the future of technical and industrial education. He said that students should work not only for employment, but also with the spirit of nation building.
He said that today is not just an occasion to confer degrees, but it is a celebration of intelligence, hard work and the acquisition of knowledge. He said that education does not end with convocation, but it begins again with every new challenge. In this era of technology and artificial intelligence, our true victory lies not in making machines more intelligent, but in making ourselves more human.
The Governor said that our country is standing at a historical turning point. With the appeal of Developed India 2047, India dreams of a future that is inspired by youth power, scientific progress and moral leadership.
