Santoshgarh/Una, June 26: It is often said that if one’s resolve is strong, neither poverty nor hardship can block the path to success. Pravin Kumari, a daughter of Sanauli village in Una district, is a living example of this. Despite limited financial resources, she refused to let her dreams shatter; instead, she has worked tirelessly—day and night—to turn them into reality. For the past two years, Pravin Kumari has been undergoing training in the 'Fitter' trade at Him Gaurav ITI, Santoshgarh, during the day, while working the night shift at Nestle India to fund her education and living expenses.
Her journey, which began in 2024, is now moving toward a new milestone as she prepares to complete her two-year training program in July 2026. Most inspiringly, despite working through the night, she has maintained a 98 percent attendance record in her training. Even amidst fatigue, financial constraints, and challenging circumstances, she never compromised on her goals or discipline. It is this very spirit that sets her apart from other students.
Pravin Kumari’s story is not merely one of a student’s success; it serves as an inspiration for the thousands of young people who might otherwise give up in the face of adversity. She has proven that with hard work, discipline, and self-confidence, any dream can be realized.
Sanjay Joshi, the manager of Him Gaurav ITI, Santoshgarh, along with the teaching staff, has praised her dedication, discipline, and perseverance, hailing her as a source of inspiration for all students at the institute. Today, Pravin Kumari has become a beacon of hope for young women who might consider abandoning their dreams due to financial hardship.
Her journey conveys a powerful message: success belongs to those who face challenges head-on rather than being intimidated by them.
