Fatehabad, February 10:- A detailed press conference was held in the auditorium hall of the Police Lines as part of the "Chai Pe Charcha" program between the police and the media. During the meeting, information about the major and decisive actions taken by the Fatehabad Police against crime, drug trafficking, and organized criminal activities in recent times was shared with the media.
Media representatives praised the campaigns being conducted under the leadership of Superintendent of Police, Mr. Siddhant Jain, IPS, and described them as positive for the law and order situation in the district. The Superintendent of Police stated that the objective of the Fatehabad Police is not only to arrest criminals, but also to instill confidence in the public, ensure the safety of women, and keep youth away from drugs.
Referring to the action against drugs, it was reported that on 09.02.2026, the Anti-Narcotics Cell, Fatehabad, Two accused have been arrested and 300 narcotic capsules and tablets and a Bullet motorcycle have been recovered. A case has been registered against the accused at Fatehabad City Police Station and they are being presented in the court.
Speedying the incident of gold earrings being stolen from women during the Shobha Yatra of Shri Khatu Shyam Temple, the police arrested two female accused and detained two minors. Fifteen gold earrings were recovered from the accused, demonstrating the police's vigilance during religious events.
In the blind murder case of an unidentified woman whose body was found on NH-10 in the Ratia area, the police have identified three accused based on technical and physical evidence, who will soon be arrested on production warrants. Meanwhile, in the armed robbery incident in Tohana, special police teams arrested the main accused after an encounter, sending a strong message to criminals.
Exposing the illegal drug trade under the guise of medical practice, a joint team of the ANC Cell and the Health Department raided Amar Clinic in Ratia and seized commercial quantities of narcotic drugs and arrested three doctors. The Superintendent of Police stated that property worth approximately ?8.15 crore belonging to 43 drug traffickers has been attached so far.
Acting promptly on media suggestions, the Superintendent of Police directed regular checking of vacant plots and dilapidated buildings, installation of no-parking signs, strict tenant verification, and robust security arrangements at religious events.
