Haroli/Una, March 25 (Rajveer Chopra):— A grand basketball and kabaddi tournament is currently being organized in Saowal village, located within the Haroli Assembly constituency. Immense enthusiasm regarding this sporting event is evident among the local youth, and a large number of players are showcasing their talents.
On this occasion, District Congress President Prashant Rai arrived as the Chief Guest. He interacted with the players personally and offered words of encouragement to boost their morale. In his address, he stated that sports inspire the youth to cultivate discipline, team spirit, and a healthy lifestyle.
Applauding the organizers, he remarked that such events provide an excellent platform for nurturing hidden talents within rural areas. Furthermore, he conveyed a message to the youth, urging them to stay away from substance abuse and to excel in sports.
Teams from several neighboring villages have participated in the tournament, and the matches are proving to be extremely thrilling.
